CODE OF CONDUCT

The HLA Board approved the Code of Conduct for HLA Meetings, Events, & Activities in Spring of 2023. ​The Hawaiʻi Library Association is committed to fostering a welcome, collaborative, and inclusive environment. The Code of Conduct sets the standard of conduct for HLA members participating in HLA meetings, events, and activities in person and/or related online spaces. It sets the expectation that all HLA members will actively work to create a safe, productive, and comfortable environment and also strictly prohibits discrimination, offensive behaviors, and sexual harassment.
