HLA mourns the passing of Debra Miyashiro, retired librarian at the state Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism. Debra passed away on July 3 after a brief illness.
Andrew Wertheimer is the new ALA Councilor as of February 15, 2010. Linda Golian-Lui is stepping down after many years of service to HLA. We thank Linda for her dedication to our organization and feel confident that we will continue to see her as an active member for years to come.
